Clynton Taylor is a successful design and innovation strategist with more than 20 years of experience in helping organizations identify new opportunities, create and build new products, services, and businesses. With an understanding of both design and business needs, Clynton has helped clients succeed from concept to market. He applies a unique blend of expertise in anthropology, design planning, organizational psychology, and business strategy.
Through Clynton Taylor Consulting, he has created the lean innovation approach in helping clients move from rich customer insights to real market impact. With experience in North America and Latin America, he has held executive roles in strategy, business development, marketing, and innovation for top design and innovation consulting firms such as Scansion, Method, and Jump Associates. Clynton has been a trusted advisor for a number of the world’s most innovative organizations, such as Target, Intel, Harley-Davidson, PepsiCo, GM, Novartis, GE, the San Diego Zoo, and FedEx. His work has been profiled in numerous publications including the New York Times, Fast Company, and Business Week.
Clynton has served as a guest lecturer at California College of the Arts and is currently a guest professor in the Masters of Business Innovation program at CEDIM in Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico. He holds a Masters degree in Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University-San Francisco Bay and a Bachelor degree in Psychology.
