Global Strategy and Product Leader
Talia Baruch is an International Product Growth Strategy Executive, working cross-functionally to make products make sense in the global multicultural marketplace. She has 20 years’ experience leading international expansion at Google, LinkedIn, and SurveyMonkey, where she led global growth, international product management, go to market strategy, internationalization, and localization.
In 2017, Talia founded Yewser to help companies accelerate global growth ground up, winning adoption in local markets on a global scale. Talia integrates the cultural and regional factors in the product strategy to maximize lifelong value-add for customers and to optimize customer experience on key funnels in priority markets: discoverability, acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention and brand loyalty. Talia is also an Entrepreneurship Advisor at the Google Accelerator for Applied Machine Learning innovation technologies in Emerging Markets, and mentors Google’s portfolio startups. She is Co-Founder of GlobalSaké, a non-profit organization, creating a collective cross-border, cross-cultural community of industry leaders for knowledge-sharing. Her previous experience also includes the management of Starbuck’s brand entry in MENA, and the optimization of VMware’s product fit in LATAM.
Talia is currently an Adjunct Professor at Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she teaches International Product and New Markets Strategy at the MBA program; San Francisco State University, where she teaches Global-Ready Digital Marketing Strategy; and Hult International Business Graduate School, where she teaches the Executive MBA program. Talia is a regular speaker at international conferences such as LocWorld, GetGlobal, TAUS, Product Tank, il8n iMUG, and SF Globalization. A native of Israel, she is trilingual and holds a MA in Localization from Beit-Berl College and a BA from Tel Aviv University.
