Bryan Semkuley is a Global Innovation and Marketing Leader at Global Minds Network who is recognized for his ability and leadership in driving business value and brand growth. He has led global innovation teams and programs at InBev and Kimberley-Clark, in addition to launching a consultancy where he advises leading companies and start-ups on strategic innovation and marketing solutions. He is a seasoned executive with unique expertise in marketing strategy, brand-led innovation development and commercialization combined with strengths in creative thinking, strategic planning and talent development.

Currently he is the Founder and Managing Director of BrandVation, an innovation and marketing strategy consultancy. He brings significant global experience in developing and delivering brand and business initiatives from strategy and ideation through to execution and commercialization. With a success record of building new and existing brands and businesses through new product development and renovation, channel and commercial innovation, communication and cross-functional alignment. His innovation expertise stems from leading global innovation teams for two Fortune 200 companies in both B2C and B2B businesses over the last decade.

In his most recent position as Vice-President, Global Innovation with Kimberly-Clark, he was responsible for Big “I” innovation resulting in delivering nearly $250 million in innovation sales value. In addition, he was instrumental in leading the development and commercialization of the Onvation intelligent restroom system, a successful product and service business solution utilizing IoT technology for office buildings and other large institutional facilities. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, Bryan worked for over 20 years in the global brewing industry culminating in the role of Vice-President, Global Innovation for InBev, the world’s largest brewer based in Leuven, Belgium. In this position, he drove the global innovation agenda and portfolio, where he and his team delivered over 60 new consumer innovations in a two-year period. It was a post he held after having served as a senior marketer with assignments of increasing scope in Canada, the US and Europe.

Bryan earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Calgary. He has also received executive education through the Business Schools of University of Michigan and University of Pennsylvania. Among his numerous business awards and recognitions, Bryan is the co-author of two business model patents, a recipient of the Top 50 Marketers of the Year award from Advertising Age, and has been recognized as a Top 40 under 40.
