Debjyoti Paul is a Global Change and Digital Transformation Advisor at Global Minds Network. Through his 25-year international career, he has transformed the digital enterprise for clients across the US, Europe, Asia and India. A passionate leader and practitioner of organizational change using digital technologies, he has successfully mastered a unique blend of innovation, scale, entrepreneurship and maturity for enhancing the digital leadership experience at global organizations such as Microsoft, Unilever, ITC Infotech, Mindtree, Infosys, and Sify.

Paul has shaped the Digital Transformation journey for some of the most ambitious organizations worldwide. He has been an early proponent and partnered with clients to ‘Make Digital Real’ and matured it over the years to ‘Realize Value from Digital’. His particular interest in recent years has been in delivering customer impact through AI-infused intelligent experiences using the cloud. A key focus in Paul’s work has been innovation to create digital products and platforms. He has been a change catalyst for consumer behavior, introducing grocery e-commerce to India as a co-founder of what is now Big Basket, India’s largest e-grocer serving about ten million consumers every month.

Paul has nurtured high-performance, motivated teams throughout his career. With an empowering and coaching oriented approach to leadership, he has delivered people transformation while creating strong, resonant relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders. He is now a leadership coach, certified by Coaching Foundation India (CFI), India’s premier post-graduate coaching institution. He also mentors startups working in various leading edge spaces such as genomics and autonomous mobility.

Currently based in Bangalore, Paul’s continuous learning focus is on Emotional Intelligence and Positive Psychology. He has completed specializations in these areas from University of Pennsylvania and Case Western Reserve University. He holds a MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India and an Engineering degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India.
